TMC performs contract vacuum distillation. Using molecular distillation as an intermediate or final step in the processing of edible oils, waxes or specialty chemicals has added value to our clients products since 1982.

	Flavors and Neutraceuticals TMC has the expertise to provide pure seperations of many oils and food flavorings. The short path, thin film separation process provides a gentle and proven method of purifying and fractionating essential oils. 	Specialty Chemicals Your chemicals polymerize or react at normal distillation temperatures and pressures. Using TMC's technology of molecular distillation, the most sensitive of materials will not undergo change and separation can be done efficiently and economically. 	Resins and Synthetic Oils Synthetic oils and resins can be purified on our short path distillation equipment. We can remove odor, reaction by-products and colors to provide the best product attainable. 	Wax Products TMC has distilled many wax products. Normally waxes are difficult to distill as they are solids at room temperatures and distill at high temperatures which can be a problem unless the residence time is of short duration. 	Fragrance Industry Using either our molecular distillation or medium vacuum distillation we can purify many of your products. Macro-36 Centrifugal Molecular Stills

Macro-36 CMS stills (centrifugal molecular stills) are capable of distilling up to 400lbs/hr. and are short path thin film. Each has 7 s.f. of evaporating surface and can achieve a vacuum of 5-10 microns giving the following advantages over conventional processing:

Low residence time and therefore minimum thermal hazard to decomposition;
Low temperature distillation of high boilers;
Vacuum deodorization of high molecular weight oils, fats and waxes;
Removal of color bodies;
Removal of reactant components to improve shelf life.
